क्या नयी राजधानी में मिल पायेगी "ट्री शेड थेरेपी" के व्यवहारिक उपयोग से मधुमेह से राहत?

"बरसात के मौसम में डोंगर कुर्रु के वृक्ष के नीचे सुबह के नाश्ते के बाद, बीजा के वृक्ष के नीचे दोपहर के भोजन के बाद और सलिहा के वृक्ष के नीचे शाम के नाश्ते के बाद| ठंड में महुआ के वृक्ष के नीचे सुबह के नाश्ते के बाद, सरई के वृक्ष के नीचे दोपहर के भोजन के बाद और मैदा के वृक्ष के नीचे शाम के नाश्ते के बाद| गर्मी में सेन्हा के वृक्ष के नीचे सुबह के नाश्ते के बाद, कर्रा के वृक्ष के नीचे भोजन के बाद और फिर भिरहा के वृक्ष के नीचे शाम के नाश्ते के बाद निश्चित अवधि तक बैंठे यदि आप औषधीय मिश्रण क्रमाकं १६५ ले रहे हैं|" मधुमेह की चिकित्सा में जुटे पारम्परिक चिकित्सक अपने रोगियों को इस तरह की सलाह देते हैं ताकि अंदरूनी तौर पर दी जा रही औषधीयों का असर तेजी से हो और रोगियों को जल्दी राहत मिल सके| छत्तीसगढ़ के इस ज्ञान को दुनिया "ट्री शेड थेरेपी" के नाम से जानती और मानती है| पीढीयों से जंगल में नाना प्रकार के वृक्षों के साथ रहते हुए राज्य के पारम्परिक चिकित्सक जानते हैं कि किस वृक्ष की छाँव लाभप्रद है और क्यों? वे रोगियों को साफ़ चेता देते हैं कि फलां वृक्ष के नीचे न जाएँ वरन लाभ के स्थान पर हानि हो सकती है| राज्य की इस थेरेपी के विषय में पिछले पन्द्रह वर्ष से भी अधिक समय से दस्तावेजीकरण के दौरान मैंने इस विषय में बहुत सी रोचक जानकारियाँ एकत्र की हैं|

आज हमारे शहर रोगों के घर हो रहे हैं| जंगली वृक्ष शहरों में आमतौर पर नहीं लगाये जाते| वृक्षारोपण के नाम पर गुलमोहर, पैल्टाफोरम और दूसरे कम उपयोगी वृक्षों को लगाकर हरियाली की खानापूर्ति कर ली जाती है| ये वृक्ष सजावटी वृक्ष की श्रेणी में आते हैं और इनका औषधीय महत्त्व नहीं होता है| शहर के रोगी देशी और जंगली वृक्षों से सम्बन्धित पारम्परिक ज्ञान के विषय में जानते हैं पर चाहकर भी इसका लाभ नहीं उठा पाते हैं| बहुत से रोगी जंगल का रुख करते हैं पर वहां भी मनचाहे स्थान पर सभी प्रकार के वृक्षों का मिलना संभव नहीं हो पाता है| उदाहरण के लिए मधुमेह से प्रभावित ऐसे रोगी जिन्हें हृदय रोग भी हैं को सलाह दी जाती हैं कि वे तेंदू के वृक्षों के समूह के नीचे बैठे| तीन वृक्षों के समूह के नीचे औषधीयों के सेवन के बाद बैठना उत्तम माना जाता है|

रायपुर की चिर प्रतीक्षित नई राजधानी में एक स्थान "ट्री शेड थेरेपी" के लिए रखा जा सकता है| एक उपवन पूर्णत: मधुमेह के रोगियों के लिए जहां वे पारम्परिक ज्ञान के आधार पर विशेष तौर पर लगाये गए और विभिन्न औषधीय सत्वों से विभिन्न समय अंतरालों में विधिवत सीचे गए औषधीय गुणों से परिपूर्ण वृक्षों के नीचे बैठकर इस महारोग से छुटकारा पा सकें| जैसा कि मैंने पहले कहा है कि राज्य का यह पारम्परिक ज्ञान दुनिया के लिए नया है और दुनिया भर में लोग इस विषय में जानने को उत्सुक हैं पर अभी तक कहीं भी "ट्री शेड थेरेपी" पर आधारित उपवन का निर्माण नहीं किया गया है यहां तक कि दुनिया में मधुमेह की राजधानी के रूप में पहचाने जाने वाले भारत में भी नहीं| इस उपवन का विकास छत्तीसगढ़ को विश्व मानचित्र में विशिष्ट स्थान दिलवा सकता हैं| राज्य में हर्बल टूरिज्म को बढ़ावा मिल सकता है|

मैंने अपनी मधुमेह की वैज्ञानिक रपट में "ट्री शेड थेरेपी" के विषय में विस्तार से लिखा है| यह अनूठा पारम्परिक ज्ञान केवल वृक्षों तक ही सीमित नहीं है| बीजा के वृक्ष की तुलना में वांडा नामक आर्किड से लदे बीजा वृक्ष को औषधीय गुणों से समृद्ध माना जाता है| इसी तरह गस्ती के वृक्ष की तुलना में तेंदू के साथ उग रहे गस्ती के वृक्ष को "ट्री शेड थेरेपी" में अधिक उपयोगी माना जाता है| मधुमेह के साथ किडनी की समस्याएं झेल रहे रोगियों के लिए कुसुम के वृक्ष की बजाय महुए के साथ उग रहे कुसम के वृक्ष को अधिक उपयोगी माना जाता है| नई राजधानी की वर्तमान परियोजना विकास की बात तो जोर-शोर से करती है पर जन-स्वास्थ्य से जुड़े ऐसे विषयों पर मौन है|

राजधानी में कुकुरमुत्ते की तरह नए निजी रिहायशी काम्प्लेक्स उठ खड़े हो रहे हैं| यह तो सभी प्रचारित करते हैं कि जिम होगा, पार्किंग होगी पर यह कोई नहीं बताता कि क्या देशी वृक्षों को भी वहां स्थान मिलेगा या नहीं? राज्य के पारम्परिक चिकित्सकीय ज्ञान पर करोड़ों पन्ने इंटरनेट पर है फिर भी इस ज्ञान के व्यवहारिक उपयोग से रोग मुक्त शहर बनाने की पहल कहीं नहीं दिखती है| क्या आपको नहीं लगता कि वाटर हार्वेस्टिंग सिस्टम की तरह देशी वृक्षों की उपस्थिति भी ऐसे रिहायशी काम्प्लेक्सों में अनिवार्य कर देनी चाहिए? आने वाली पीढी के लिए हम कुछ तो अच्छा छोड़ जाएँ| देशी वृक्ष आधुनिक प्रदूषित शहरों के फेफड़े की तरह कार्य करते हैं| यदि प्राण वायु के साथ उनके औषधीय गुणों का भी लाभ मिलने लगे शहर कभी भी बीमार नहीं होगा|
